The Miracle of the Atonement that has been prepared to help you overcome ALL things:
Matthew 24, is a powerful sermon in which Jesus Christ is speaking to people who may one day become lost souls, after this life is over. He teaches that many will come falsely in His name, so believe it not. This powerful message is overlooked as we do not live amongst the anti-Christs, nor do we suffer from the affliction whereas many lack the gospel knowledge.
You have received His name through the Atonement; therefore, you are blessed to represent Him in all things. However, you bear false witness to others when you conduct yourself in a manner that opposes the life and teachings of Christ. Namely; you ofttimes take His name in vain; either casually or pridefully. The manner you conduct yourself in this life, will have immediate consequences. Therefore, if you cast spirits out in the name of Christ, you receive His authority to do so, but if you do so without mercy and justice, there are consequences more unpleasant than you can bear. This is due to many factors, we will discuss in-depth, in the following chapters.
We find ourselves lost in this world, but unaware because of the confusion of worldly deception. In the book of John chapter 8, Jesus discourses to the people, being the sons of the devil rather than the sons of God. This presents challenging concepts that when you step away from the covenant path, you will feel darkness looming all around because you are not the children of God. This is not a rejection nor is it judgement, but awareness that the true suffering you feel is not resolved by casting out spirits, but with repentance. You cannot return to the covenant path until you are purified through the atonement. Once purified, you’ll feel the freedom return that comes from the companionship of the Spirit of God. This is what it means, when I say that to overcome darkness, we simply turn on the light.
When you are on the covenant path, you are not burdened by darkness because the light of Christ abides in you. Lost souls cannot step onto this path. Therefore, if you are aware of darkness, this is a gift of illumination so you may be aware of your imprisonment. Remaining in the darkness and casting out spirits doesn’t resolve the true affliction. All it does is offer a temporary relief, but stepping onto the covenant path is the true light you seek.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Can you hear the voice of God speaking to you or is the world too loud, ringing false promises in your ears? When you are living in such a way that you are united with God through the atonement, you will hear His voice in your thoughts, not your own. This is the true power of revelation.
Therefore, do not follow my council blindly because I am also in the world, just like you. I only know these things because I am no longer of the world. Receive your own witness from the Father directly. It is His voice that sustains you. His voice literally brings life unto your flesh.

Be ye therefore perfect or complete, even as the Father is perfect or complete. This is not born unto one who is perfect in all things, but one who is humble enough to receive the fullness through the power of the atonement, which has been prepared so you may receive all that the Father has in store for you. Let us continue to learn how to remain on the path, with the light of Christ burning from within. Repentance is not done once, but repeated and practiced frequently. Therefore, rejoice that you are made aware of your afflictions so you may know when the Holy Spirit has departed and learn what is required to receive it once again.
This is the light you seek, for the light of Christ overcomes all darkness.
