A choice cannot be made until consulting with the past, present, and future understanding of the world and what is best. We cannot make a change that doesn’t feel comfortable or safe or offer any foresight into the future results. Shifting our perspective of past events to a more Christ-like understanding will heal the past. When we change the view of the past it is oftentimes scary, so take a leap of faith and look for the lesson that can be learned. Additionally, the past offers forsight, so when we heal the past it helps us to anticipate a positive future. The present rests upon our deeper relationship with God. |
