When a person dies in a highly traumatic situation where they are feeling a lot of negative emotions; they can get trapped in a loop. This time loop can affect the mortals living in the home (as the energy is typically connected to property) by influencing their emotions. Due to the fact the rebellious spirit is feeling intense emotions, I have seen the mortal feeling similar emotions that are not their own. This is easily corrected when we act as missionaries for those trapped in this time loop as they are usually suffering. This takes place simultaneously in another dimension.
